Mission Statement Trib Total Media's campaign has provided a complete holiday dinner for thousands of less fortunate families in the newspaper's service area. Give the gift of a holiday meal. is a cooperative effort between Trib Total Media, Shop N Save/Supervalu and the Salvation Army. Since 1984, the campaign has provided a complete holiday dinner to hundreds of thousands of needy families across Southwestern Pennsylvania. Children in those families also receive coloring books, crayons and a new or gently-used storybook as well. is a registered 501©3, all-volunteer organization. The generosity of our donors and volunteers make the campaign possible. Individuals and families, school groups, service clubs and business organizations all pitch in to help. From donating funds, to organizing and publicizing the fund drive to collecting new and gently-used books, to packing groceries and delivering them to the Salvation Army for distribution, our volunteers and donors are the keys to making a success. All of the funds raised go towards purchasing the groceries and bags that we distribute. We hope to raise over $120,000 this year, enough to deliver complete holiday meals to more than 7,090 families across five counties in Southwestern Pennsylvania and served by more than two dozen Salvation Army units and corps. No donation is too small; a contribution of just $17.25 will provide a family of four with all the ingredients for a nutritious and delicious meal this holiday season.
